OBJECTS OF BALANCE - II I STOOLS 

In this design project Taxiarchis Balaskas aims to create dialogues between the balance of our contemporary worldview and inner development, using  two everyday functional objects as physical representations . 

One made out of plexi glass, representing fancy exteriors, materials without a story, consumption, spiritual starvation - life without a purpose.
The second one made out of oak, reflecting embed meanings, materials with a past, human touch, awareness - examined life.

These two stools aim to become physical reminders in our everyday activities, to reflect and raise more conscious worldviews that answer the question of “why ?” .
